Ohio & West Virginia Concealed Weapons Permit
Powers Defensive Tactics offers training for the state Concealed Weapons Permit, a state mandated 12 hour course to carry a concealed pistol. We offer the class one weekend per month in two 6-hour days. Private One Day Lessons Available. We provide all paperwork and training needed to apply for the Concealed Weapons Permit.

Basic Class:
A 12 hour block of instruction including:
- Safety
- Methods of carry
- Laws and rules
- Application process
- Home safety
- Situational awareness
- Low level light
- Target assessment
- How to have a "successful" confrontation.
Class Information
You will need to provide a pistol and at least 50 rounds to complete the shooting portion of the training. If you do not have a pistol we can rent you one for a $25 fee including ammo. We will provide all safety gear as needed. Snacks and beverages will be available. We will not break for lunch in order to complete the class on time. 8am-2pm. If you are unable to go this long without a meal due to a medical or other reason please let us know. Arrangements will be made to accommodate you. Please Bring your unloaded pistol into class both days and leave the ammo in your vehicle. After you enter the main doors turn right and walk through open doorway.
